Our adobe inn has traditional tiles, shingles and wood details and is sheltered under the foliage of a large avocado tree, there is even a pond with koï carp. It is only one block from the famous Vasco de Quiroga Plaza in the historic heart of Patzcuaro, a sacred city and old ceremonial center of P’urhépecha culture.

The colorful rooms are spacious with original high ceilings, handicrafts from all over Latin America. Each has a view of the Yolihuani gardens. You will be cozy in a King or Queen size bed with a down duvet. The bathrooms have talavera tiles with pre-Hispanic motifs.
Every morning we serve delicious breakfasts in our garden, complete with artisan breads, fruit salad and an alternating hot dish.
We often cook with organic vegetables from our garden or products from the Organic and Gourmet Market that takes places every Friday right here.
You don’t need to stay at home to work online. Designers, anthropologists, psychoanalysts and consultants have come to Yolihuani and enjoyed a place where it is so easy to focus. You will have a fast WiFi connection and a spacious room with a desk.
We offer fixed rates for longer stays so moving your office to Pátzcuaro is easy.
Our huge avocado tree which is almost always laden with avocados welcomes you in the front garden. We are delighted to share the gifts of this tree with our guests!
Our rear garden is dominated by the guardian of Yolihuani, a majestic ash which is almost a hundred years old. Under its powerful branches you will find flowers, a grapefruit and a greenhouse with vegetables. In the morning, hummingbirds dance around the garden feeding on the flowers while you enjoy the first rays of the sun… In the distance bells ring…
Yolihuani’s decorations of are mostly made in the towns surrounding of the lake of Pátzcuaro. Take a day to visit the artisans around the lake – we love connecting our guests with our favorite artisans and their workshops.

We are happy to give you advice on where to go or organize an excursion for you in this region of great tradition, beautiful villages, stunning churches, mysterious pre-Hispanic temples, and a lovely natural environment. We speak also French and English.
Yolihuani hosts Yoga classes and Feldenkrais physical rehabilitation sessions, which are organized in small groups with experienced teachers.
Every Friday the Organic and Gourmet Market held here offers healthy and high quality regional products.
Artistic shows of music, cinema, theater or other forms of body expression are presented in the gardens or the multipurpose room of Yolihuani.
Artists of all kinds are invited to present their work here to passing tourists, travelers, other artists and residents of Pátzcuaro.
